Laurie Johnson

I began dancing as a child at my mother's studio in New York, The Adele Johnson School of Performing Arts. I received a BA from the George Washington University and an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. My previous career included stints on Capitol Hill and working as an executive at various fortune 500 companies.

I gave up my corporate career, because I wanted to tap dance. Since I quit my six figure corporate job, I have tap danced on National television several times - first, with the late, great Gregory Hines, on his NBC sitcom, then as a featured guest on the John Walsh Show, Good Morning Texas and CNN's Real Life.

I have since turned my creativity and passion into an exciting career. Today, I am a tap dancer, motivational speaker, life coach and author. As a speaker, I inspire and challenge audiences to live up to their greatness. This is a lesson I learned from my own life experiences and one I am helping others apply to their own lives. My speaking and my dancing provide entertainment as well as very powerful, inspirational messages. Check out "Laurie's Passion Principles", and my book Rich by Choice Poor by Habit. These are the tools I use to guide people to pursue their passions, take intelligent risks, and live out their dreams.

My book, Rich by Choice Poor by Habit, is a concise and easy-to-understand guide to some of the most powerful, life-enriching tools and principles. I hope to inspire you to shake off mediocrity and "TAP IN" to YOUR full potential in order to achieve complete personal and financial freedom.

Live for Today, Choose for Tomorrow.
